How does the Old Town suddenly become a village? It's a bit on the large side for a village!

In Spanish they appear to use the word 'pueblo' for the towns. In all the municipalities such as Pollensa, Alcudia, Calvia, Santanyi etc., the municipality is named after the key 'pueblo' where the town-hall or ajuntament is based. So I think 'pueblo' must mean town too. Otherwise we have 'ciudads' which are cities!

The word for both town and village is un pueblo but if it's a small village you can say un pueblecito
