Pedestrianisation September 2016

PP still remains a fabulous place to enjoy the summer both on your own or with friends. We have returned however for our second stint this year and as I suspected the cracks in the concrete are deoteriorating . In addition the slabs are settling and ridges are becoming more pronounced. This might be acceptable after 20 years but they haven't even seen one winter yet !! I've updated my Flickr photos for those interested at

Hopefully the council will take note.

If this thread becomes a repeat of an earlier thread on this subject i will remove it.

I ask that members who have already voiced their opinions many times will sit back and allow others to post their feelings, thank you.

Why was my post removed? Perfectly valid one and only in response to the photos in the above thread?

No posts have been removed on this thread.

Where's my post then? Is this forum now becoming only for the "chosen few" to have their say or only those with "rose tinted glasses"?
Unless particularly offensive etc. a post surely shouldn't be removed? I'll have to revisit the definition of the word "forum".

As i have already said, no posts have been removed from this thread.

Posts are sometimes removed if they are off topic or duplicated, please read the T&Cs of forum use here http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...terms-use.html.

I must be missing something here then. I followed Chelseadons post with one of my own regarding particular concern for the photos showing the movement of the "bobbly" type of slabs which I'm sure are there to assist blind or partially sighted people. This is of meaning to me as I have twin brothers who are partially sighted, hence my concern.
I am tiring of posts being deleted by one person.
I've been contacted by others showing the same concern.
What a shame.
Let's see if this one gets removed too.....

CharlieV 10-09-2016 10:43

Nick, I think your post was actually removed from Tangmans Trip Report thread because the whole thread started to go off topic. This thread is a new one and as Sparky says, nothing has been removed from here.

Nick 10-09-2016 10:51

Fair comment. But why then has mine, and any subsequent ones relating to it after Chelseadons post at the top, not been appended to this thread??? They're all relevant and anyone coming in on this would not have the benefit of seeing all the posts.

I will add a link to the full version of flickr as I prefer that to the mobile version.

I can see why people are concerned.

We arrive on the 21st and I'm now wondering wether to pack my sandals or my hiking boots , given the state of the footpaths. Only joking. :)

Nick 10-09-2016 12:25

Steel toecap boots!
