A message from Sparky.
We all know there has been a lot of negative posts lately, that's fine but i just thought it would be nice if we all tried to cheer up a bit. At the moment i have a song that keeps popping into my head and it makes me smile. Here is the first verse :-
Quote:
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...
...always look on the bright side
of life...
(Whistle)

I'm actually very cheerful.
Had a great time in the Pollensa area last week. Got back to receive an email from the company that published my last book saying they will take my next one. Which means I've got to crack on and finish writing it! And then there's the planning for the next trip (France & Belgium) only a few weeks off. Life's pretty good.

My youngest daughter is getting married next week and is glowing with happiness. What could be better than that?

Just back from a week in Cyprus but for some reason we seem to have missed summer and autumn in the UK and come back to winter! Nearly May and widespread snow.
BUT........we have two holidays in PP to look forward to in June and August - three weeks in our favourite place SO.........definitely looking on the bright side of life. La la, la la la la la la!

Happy days everyone

The Clinkham household is happy!
Doc has signed off Mrs Cs new knee and said she is 'fit to fly'.
Spotted what would seem to be the last room at Sis Pins for last the week in June. Credit card taken the strain and both of us happy with a PP break to put us on till the big family holiday in August.
Fingers crossed for a trouble free season following last years medical problems.

Good for Mrs C.
Hot on the heels of the Villa Parade debacle, we rebooked only to have to cancel due to my new knee.

Feeling happy that is only 85 days until we are back in beautiful Puerto Pollensa. Big smile on our faces today too as Newcastle United have just crept out of the relegation zone. Phew and hopefully they can keep this up!
