Default Changes to the park

Hi all

Does anyone know anything about the proposed development of the parkland at Bocchoris Avenue? Near Boquer valley walk( just up from Coral Bar)

Read that it is to be dog training area/children's play area/adult fitness area?

I read it in the talk of the north, any thoughts as to how this is going to be viewed?

Val

I hope so. All the green areas, park areas and play areas in PP need a good clean up and makeover IMO.

This appears to be happening. Have a look at our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/puertopollensaguide/ where I've shared a photo that had been posted. The children's area looks as if it is nearly in place.

Apparently there will be a dog exercise area (with dog toilet facilities!) on the other side.

PARC Bocchoris: Since the fitness equipment and the circuit Biosalud benches and litter bins in the central park ride are installed. At the moment the access is closed with ribbons awaiting the concrete bases that support be consolidated, but you can see the change that the installation means for the ride. We have also installed dispensers of bags for droppings and litter bins in the area for pets. We report that are waiting to receive and mount the fence of the playground. We are waiting for the City Council announce the opening of this beautiful park.

I wonder what the goats will make of it all!
They are the most regular visitors there when they scamper down from the mountains to nibble on the foliage.
Maybe the 'old goats' will move on too!

Oh I hope not! We've seen them climbing on cars before now, a children's playground could be great fun for them!

Default Problems in the park.

There seems to be problems with the exercise equipment in the park, this is from the UH here Alternativa denuncia la «peligrosidad» del nuevo parque del Port de Pollença » Part Forana » Noticias » Ultima Hora Mallorca, translated by Google.

Alternativa per Pollença has indicated in a statement a few days ago denounced the installation of Bocchoris park "it was made without following public procurement law" .The park has space for entertaining children and an area for more higher with several appliances for physical exercise, as well as a space for dogs, enclosed by barriers, with several elements to allow animals to play and run to your liking.

In addition, training has denounced a whole series of shortcomings . They point out that a few days one of the exercise equipment was broken when does a person used it. They point out that installation is poor and that "there is no need for this type of fixing devices. These devices do not have sufficient concrete base or rod anchors into the concrete mass. " Alternative requests that are prevented from using the equipment until proven their safety and ask that the company responsible for installing the corresponding responsibilities. For Moreover, we also remark that apparently the park does not comply with the linguistic standardization and labeled only in Castilian.

From the above photo it is a clear case of a badly fixed 'Bodge Job'.
Someone is going to get hurt on equipment fixed (or clearly not fixed) like that!
