Holiday

Can someone tell me if there is a holiday around 11th/12th October? We are due to arrive on 11th and something makes me think that supermarkets are closed for a holiday around that time...been caught out before:rolleyes:

Yes Tiggy is correct, the 12th is Spain's national day and also it's the fiesta of the Virgen del Pilar the patron saint of the Guardia Civil.
As far as i know the supermarkets will be open although some may do Sunday hours.
