Dear fellow contributors
Will you all stop complaining about the atrocious weather in the UK .
When i was a boy no matter what the weather you still went to school.
People one way or the other still got to work. Milkman, Baker,Coalman
and the fizzy pop man still managed to deliver on time. Trains still kept running,Shops were open as usual and you just put more blankets on the bed and Grandad's Greatcoat if you were cold.
So come on Fellow Brits ..Stiff upper lip.And fight the cold for Britain.
Anyway we are off to Pollenca on the 20th April so watch the Web cam and see us frolicking in the sun.
And if its Cold Hot Brandy and Chocolate drinks ( I Cant Spell Lamumbas )
PP76, pollensafan, Lorenzo and 2 others like this.

I could almost hear the violins playing as you took your trip down memory lane.
You also forgot to mention that it was that long ago that you were paid in Groats.

Bet it was the Winter Warmers at the Anniversary lunch that warmed the cockles and got the blood flowing again.
So today's Saturday, Amazing what 12 hours can do.
The Snow in Ruislip has nearly all Melted HOORAY.
Only trouble now i might get dragged of to the Shops.

Needed them there winter warmers yesterday Roy. If I was tech savvy Id post a photo of the view from our table. We are fortunate to live in the countryside. Fortunate when theres no snow that is.
