Yes we are the same. The only draw back is the lottery with Jet2, last 2 flights with Jet2 we booked Extra Legroom seats, checked in on line only to be informed at bag drop that we had been shifted to standard seats (hubby 6'2") not good. Reason on each return journey was repositioning of aircraft (funny that, flight despatcher said it is a daily occurrance. We did eventually get our additional money back but dreadful service.

Default Jet2 aside...

With you there Scotslizzy, still 7 weeks to go for us but am already so, so looking forward to it...

Yes, Jet 2...hmmm.... I booked for our July break way back last August and booked and paid for good seats in our ideal area. To cut a long story short, I recently discovered by chance that our reserved seats have now been reallocated to the wheelchair only row (due to a change of aircraft apparently) and we would have ended up being allocated the 'dregs' on check-in if I had not noticed the error now; I had to waste my time emailing them, then phoning them in order to choose alternative seats - really, really annoying as the choices were by now pretty limited; so much for benefitting from booking well in advance! Surely it is their responsibility, and basic decent service, for an airline to notify a passenger of any such changes immediately and to reallocate them to similar seats?

That said, we have been very happy with Jet2's service over the past few years so I am trying to remain positive about our upcoming journey, and in the grand scheme of things it's really just the arriving in the Port that matters! Roll on July, and Happy Holidays scotlizzy!
