Who is out in August ?.
 

Hopefully some of you will manage to get out :D.

We are hoping to fly out on 29th August. However, Easyjet aren't making it easy (excuse the pun) They are closing their hub at Southend Airport at the end of August and so we won't know if we are affected until a couple of weeks before. Also, if the Foreign Office advice doesn't change, we will think twice about going as we won't be covered on the travel insurance.

Currently scheduled to fly out on 23 Aug.

All will depend on Foreign Office & Air Bridge/Quarantine situation & Ryanair & infection rates etc etc. Flight has already been re-scheduled once, and I could now checkin for the new flight-time (but haven't done so).

The thought of going on a plane seems a bit bizarre at present. We last went into a supermarket/grocery shop as long ago as 18 March. Have been having online orders delivered to our home. No retail visits at all until last week when we (bravely) went in a card shop and garden centre once each. Scary times.

Our son and family are going out for a week on 8th and we’re booked out again on 30th.

Hopefully 30th of August for us, if Easyjet still flying from Newcastle then.

Coming out on again on 16th August, no doubt after playing musical chairs with EJ flights!

Yes please if they don’t cancel flights

Flying out on August 30th for 13 days staying above Los Faroles again.
This was rebooked after we could not fly in June.
Cant wait to get out there.

Just booked a trip from the 29th August, fingers crossed this trip comes to fruition.

Well the excitement didn't last long, holiday booked with Jet2 on Friday, Jet2 cancel said trip on Monday!

Looks like they've cancelled the flight from Edinburgh on the Saturday and rather than give us the option of flying from Glasgow they've cancelled the whole holiday.

No availability showing for the accommodation/room type we wanted, so back looking at our options.

Its so frustrating! Why take the booking and then cancel so quickly?

I understand these must be challenging times for travel companies, but it is frustrating, especially since these flights only recently appeared!

I did call them, but gave up after 75 minutes on hold, I'll try again tomorrow morning.

And we're back on again!

While the email they sent me stated they'd cancelled the holiday, it was actually still open for amendment. They were able to secure the hotel/room type we wanted flying the next day.

So, we're flying out on the 30th(all being well). :D

Not now im afraid !!!! sad times and worry for tourist industry in Spain as a whole and mallorca individually , now trying to reschedule for next year , with a very long phone call onto ryanair:eek:

Sadly not us anymore!!
