Update to my post #3 -

Decided today that we will 'not' be visiting as planned.

Very difficult decision as we 'want' to be there but (after changing minds daily) there are just too many negative factors incl government advice, quarantine, seniors, medical, quarantine, insurance etc etc.

Will be there in 2021, but if UK Gov surprisingly in next week or so changed their advice for Mallorca, we would reconsider for Aug/Sept 2020.

We have had to cancel our August 30th flight and 2 weeks in PP. This is after having to cancel our usual June flights. My work would not be happy to allow me to work from home despite having the ability to upon return. Debs also has a couple of health issues that we would be silly to risk by travelling as insurance may not cover us.
Absolutely gutted as this would be the first year we have not visited in 19 years however understand the situation.
Love to all in PP and we will back 2ith avengence next year.

We're just waiting on Jet2 doing their Friday thing of cancelling the flights for the next week.

However if by some miracle they don't we'll be off on Sunday, following a last minute dash to retrieve the cases from the loft and pack.

I've had a wee look at Jet2's prices for next year, it looks like they're trying to recoup some of their losses from 2020!

Good luck. We were cancelled for last Monday on the Thursday, 3rd time this year. Watch their offer for quick rebook credit note it did not work.
We were hoping to try again for this week. Take the refund.

So sad to hear of a number or bars and restaurants closing for the year, or maybe longer. When we rebooked in July we were looking forward to supporting many businesses as possible.
Today should have been our second day of our rebooked holiday but understandably could not come out so have rebooked for next June.
Hope everyone in PP stays safe and roll on next June.
