Aah, Snowy, we'll miss you. We fly out the 19th and we're staying in Pollensa from the 20th to the 25th.

I do miss the old times - hubby can't wait to be drinking a beer in the Cafe Espanyol or Ca'n Moixet!

Yes, Cafe Espanyol and Ca'n Moixet are the same place and I've never found out why the place has two names! I wouldn't have a clue how to pronounce Ca'n Moixet!

Snowy, we're going to be spoilt for choice for meals - I would love to be able to walk to restaurants every night and as we're based in Pollensa for the first time, maybe I'll be able to. I would like to eat at L'Aup, though, so that will involve a drive.

Fingers crossed, we may go back in 2020 for a longer visit.

Jane - L'Aup is now Placeta Garden! Still gets good reports though.

Oh yes, thank you! I have been looking at reviews on Trip Advisor - the last couple were a bit iffy so now doubtful. We are only in Pollensa for five nights so we need to get it right! Has anyone on this forum been and would you recommend? I couldn't get the menu to download from their website so when we're there we may visit and have a look.

Feel very much a Pollensa virgin again!

Well, we're back (returned on Wednesday) and we had a really lovely time. Going back after so long was a bit like seeing the area anew - I'd forgotten how beautiful Pollensa is and how stunning the scenery in Puerto Pollensa is.

We stayed in a house on Carrer del Roser Vell in the old town which was fab as it meant we could walk to all the restaurants in Pollensa and I could have the odd glass of wine!

I have made lots of notes and I am currently writing my blog as I didn't take a laptop with me.

I will write about the restaurants we visited but if you'd like to read about our trip in a bit more depth, you can visit the blog by accessing it on my profile page under the contact info.

Oh, and I found out what Ca'n Moixet means and how to pronounce it!!
