Default Two visits in the same year

Oh my word, we've just been extremely naughty!

We were out for 2 weeks at the beginning of this month, but then we got so depressed when we got home about maybe not being able to afford to visit next summer, that we've managed to scrape together enough pennies to come out again in October half term!

Booked the flights on Friday and have just confirmed the villa this morning.

It'll be our 9th visit to Pollensa, but the first time we've ever done it twice in the same year - oh we're so excited!!!

Good on you!! You are joining the growing band of Multiple Months Visitors! It really is good to see the island at different times of the year. The changes can be quite dramatic and once you start you will be looking for even more excuses to visit!

Late April is lovely too... especially if you can time your visit to coincide with the wine festival and/or the Easter celebrations...

Our first visit to PP was in July 1985 when we spent two fantastic weeks. We did that for a couple of years; we then spent three weeks every April, usually at Eastertime, which is a lovely time to be there; followed by a week in October for our wedding anniversary.

April is such a lovely month in Mallorca - everywhere is so green and the wild flowers are spectacular - and when the sun was shining it was just perfect

Over the years the off season weather has been variable when we've visited, but this year we were lucky enough to have trips in April, June and July/August and brilliant weather throughout.

Enjoy!

Don't worry kcdc230 - we've just done exactly the same thing. We got back on 18th August and have already booked a cheeky week in October!
It will be our 4th visit but first time out of season.

Our first visit to puerto was the first 2 weeks of the season at the end of march/begining of April. The weather was glorious and the clocks changed the Saturday night we landed! We return on the 26th october and the clocks change back that night! Cool eh!
Can't wait!

It still seemed ages away when I started this thread, but it's now less than 2 weeks to go so getting mega excited again now!

The last post has made a point that I'm not sure I was aware of - the comment about the clocks changing... Does that also apply in Malllorca?

Ah, glad sunshinedrive made that comment, otherwise we'd have probably been oblivious to it!

Thanks Sparky.

No problemo. We land around 10.30am = 11.30am in mallorca, but then at 1am that sat night/sun morning we lose the hour thus are technically back to our normal body clock time! Wierd!

Oh yeah, I hadn't really appreciated that either - that'll be really good with the 6 year old, her body clock won't change, so Sunday morning should be as normal!

We arrive late morning as well - I like that because it's almost another full day at the beginning of the holiday.
