Default Son Espases Hospital, Palma

Friends of mine were in Palma last month and had to go to the main hospital to visit a neighbour there.
"Ah, yes", I said 'knowledgeably', "you mean you went to Son Dureta".

Well 'Son Dureta' is no longer!

The new big, modern main hospital in Palma is now 'Son Espases' and can be easily found on the main Via Cintura on the Carretera de Valldemossa turning, Cami dels Reis 07010 Palma (MA-1130).

Current temporary telephone number is 971 218 787 and then it will be 871 205 000.

Thank you Lorenzo! Just hope I never need to use the info I spent half of one holiday in hospital a few years ago - and that was enough

If you need to visit the hospital in an emergency with your EHIC then it will more likely be the one at Inca. If you have to go privately then it would be Muro.

Looking at all my other phone numbers, quite a lot of them seem out of date. Any chance of a Sticky with emergency numbers on; Local police, British consulate, taxis, doctors, airport information, tourist information etc? Have looked at various magazines brought back but not really comprehensive and may well be out of date. If you fancy avoiding sunstroke for an hour or so.......!

That will be great Sparky. So useful to have in one place. As Bella said numbers and info change so often it is difficult to keep up to date.

Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Wonderful. Anything that involves a uniform of any sort requires a number in my opinion! No rush, anytime in the next 7 days will be great!

Useful to have the update available - not too many changes but we can keep a check on them yearly to make sure they stay up to date.

Taxi numbers etc are already posted under separate heading.

Transport in Puerto Pollensa, Majorca - taxis, bus, trains, airport transfers
