I ordered two kits (for my wife and I) at the same time and used the same code on both locator forms

No worries - it gives the same discount as the EasyJet code

Hi Everyone,
Fingers crossed we are flying out after Christmas to spend New Year in the Port. We are wondering if there is anywhere open where we can get our Lateral Flow Tests completed to allow us to fly home. In the Summer there were quite a few places open.
I would be grateful for any help on this matter. Thank you.

Hello, we were told by the owner of our hotel that the clinic in PP was closed. Not sure if this was the correct information or not, but we ended up going to the hospital in Alcudia https://www.juaneda.es/centro/5/hospital-juaneda-muro/. You can book online (be careful, don't book an appointment for Palma, like we did!) or just walk in.

We queued up at the reception desk and you give all your details - don't forget to take your passport. The process was very simple - you get swabbed and then receive the result within a couple of hours.

Hope this helps.

We used Dr Mallorca on the front at PP, near the Tabacc. I don't know if it is still operating in the Winter. Only took 15 minutes LFT and 30 Euros each.

From an earlier post I know that Disorderly used a local GP in the port for LFT, perhaps he can pick this up and update the details, he also been recently.

You’re absolutely right. We used Dr. Caro who’s surgery is on Calle La Gola, the street that runs from the front between Abacco and Formantor Car Hire. We got antigen tests at €30 a go.

I don’t know for sure that he’s still doing them, but when we left two weeks ago there was still a sign in the window saying they were available, so I expect he is. He’s a really nice guy too. You do need to make an appointment.

Hope that helps.

The dreaded virus finally caught up with us at a Wedding on Friday. Definitely the omnicron varient as the symptons are different to previous versions.

We had our boosters only five days earlier, but three/four days after the first symptoms, we're definitely feeling better and my wife has been on the X Trainer this afternoon. I can't imagine anyone going to a pre christmas function, won't be in a room with the virus around here....it really is spreading like wildfire.

Yes I've finally succumbed to it too! Mind you, I have been working in a school throughout the whole pandemic so I'm amazed I dodged it for so long! Would never have picked it up without my daily LFTs as I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever! I did have my booster a month ago though. Positive LFT and PCR last Thursday, did an LFT test again out of interest on Saturday and was negative! Good job I was doing daily and not twice weekly tests or I would have missed it!
