Since the requirement to show a Covid certificate to enter a bar / restaurant was introduced here I have only been asked three times to produce it . Theres not much point in introducing rules if they are ignored and not enforced.

If you go to the same places all the time, once they've seen it and recorded it they don't need to see it again.

Isn’t it nice to see things slowly heading back to normal. Let’s hope it stays that way. We are coming out in a few days time and so pleased that rules are being relaxed. We wish all the local businesses the season they hope for and deserve in 2022.

Default No tests for vaccinated arrivals into UK

UK update as of today - "Fully vaccinated passengers no longer need to take a COVID-19 test when arriving in the UK."

"from 4am on 11 February all testing requirements removed for eligible fully vaccinated arrivals and only a simplified passenger locator form needed, ahead of half term

Arrivals who do not qualify as fully vaccinated will only need to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on or before day 2 after they arrive in the UK"

I also heard on the radio this lunchtime that 12 to 18 year olds will no longer need to be fully vaccinated to enter Spain. (I think they said from Monday) They can provide a negative PCR test instead. This is good news for families travelling this season.

Hi… Could any recent travellers to PP confirm that to enter Mallorca now, we will need to complete the Health form & show proof of Vaccination? We don’t need proof of a negative test, do we?! Thanks!

Yes that's it - just upload your Vax record to the Spanish form and nothing required to go back to the UK. Btw you need to upload your latest vaccination ie the Booster.

The form is here https://www.spth.gob.es/

If you can, print everything out before you go. It's much easier than finding stuff on your phone. Ryanair checked all of ours at the gate and then they check again at Palma airport.

Is the wearing of facemasks still necessary on buses, in shops, etc?

It is still required on public transport but not in shops although some may ask you to wear one, it is up to their discretion .

Spanish mask rules expire 15th June. Any news on whether they will be extended? Can't find anything on Google today.
