Unfortunately we've had our June flights cancelled, which we were expecting to happen, but hoping that it wouldn't, so we have had to move our hotel booking to June 2021. Maybe we'll be able to return to P.P later in the year, fingers crossed.

It is good news! I wonder if anyone could clarify re the timetable for walks/exercise in phase 2? As I understand it all times are now free with the exception of 10am to 12pm and 7pm to 8pm....I may be completely wrong though! Many thanks.

Phase 2 has now begun in Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza and Shopping Centres, big stores, beaches and swimming pools have reopened.

The de-escalation of the coronavirus State of Emergency allows residents of the island to take another step towards normality after a new package of measures was approved and published by the BOE on Saturday.

Residents of Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza have more freedom of movement, groups of up to ten people can get together and seniors and people with disabilities in Residential Centres or sheltered housing can receive visitors.

Customers are also able to sit inside at bars and restaurants, although capacity is limited to 50% and 50% on terraces.

Shopping Centres are open with a capacity of 40% but the common areas are still closed and shops inside have also opened their doors but customers must go directly from one shop to another and are not allowed to loiter in open spaces.

Cinemas, Theatres and Auditoriums have reopened with pre-allocated seating and a one-third capacity limitation.

At the beach, personal items, towels, sunbeds etc, must be within the 2-metre perimeter between groups, unless they live in the same house and swimming pools have reopened with 30% capacity.

Guests are now authorised to use the common areas in hotels, but capacity is restricted to 30%.

...
Anyone under the age of 70 can walk or play non-professional outdoor sports at almost any time of the day, except from 10.00-12.00 and 1900-2000 which is reserved exclusively for those over 70 to go out for a walk or play sport.

I think the 10am-12pm/ 7pm -8pm slots are still in operation for the over 70s although i am not sure if that means they can only exercise/walk during those times. But definitely everyone else can be out except during the elderly's slots.

P.S this could have changed over the weekend.

Dear Sparky and all residents of PP,
We are tentatively hoping to, once again, be with you in mid July but as responsible visitors would like to know what Covid precautions we will need to adhere to (face masks, social distancing etc.) as we do not wish to embarrass/offend our wonderful hosts at this difficult time.
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated

If you go into any shop or use public transport you have to wear a mask, i always have a mask with me just in case it's not possible to observe the metre and a half distance outside. All bars and restaurants provide hand gel but i carry my own, basically to save them the expense. With regard to the customary greeting hugs, many of us are beginning to do it again but we all know each other well and the fact that we were all in total lock down means we are safe.
I think we will all be more cautious with visitors purely because we don't want to go back to the dark times of total lock down. Sorry if this offends but you guys had it easy .
