Default The dreaded mossy

Hi. I am visiting Pollensa In may. MY g/f reacts badly to most insect bites. Can anyone tell me whether mossys and such like are a problem in May.

I have only been badly bitten once at that time of year, and it was in a restaurant garden, inland of PP. Generally, I dont take any chances tho, after showering, using an aftersun that has an insect repellant included ( boots own is good) (and belt and braces here...always have an insect repellant in my bag, just in case.) I really havent found it a problem at all..but as I react badly too, so Id rather be safe than itchy !

Hope u have a great holiday

Thanks for that. At least it doesn't sound that its a major problem in May but she will definately be packing the expedition strength repellent.

Hi
I always take piriton with me on my holidays it works quickly and takes away the itch and is also good for any alergic reactions but can make you a little sleepy if you take it too long a couple of days is enough. but majorca can be ok not too many mosquitos stay away from the plants

Are mosquitos a problem at this time of the year as my wife has had some quite bad reactions to bites in the past.

Only 3 more sleeps

Just back and we had no probs - 1 bite on the last night because we left the door open to the terrace but here's a tip - I take anti-histamine for allergies and if I am ever bitten it does not come to anything - try some Zirtek!
