Default Hello

Hello
My other half and I are just starting a 2 month stay to see if we will be able to make a permanent move to the island when we retire next year.

We haven't finally decided on area - part of our trip is about exploring areas we know less well - and at the moment are thinking that we would rent rather than buy - but are trying to keep an open mind.

If anyone has any recommendations for eatate/letting agents and particlarly for an English speaking gestor with recent experince of getting through the residency appication process, we'd be very grateful for the information.

Many thanks
Callie

You could do the residency application yourself ,it is quite straight forward if you get the right paperwork. If and when you are ready you PM me I will give you the latest info as it is changing all the time.

Thanks for the reply and very kind offer Lollipop.
I'm anxious to make sure that we have the right paperwork to make it as smooth as possible - for example will they accept British bank account statements showing regular pension income or does it have to be a Spanish bank - in which case how many months payments are acceptable.
Trying to keep up with the changes has been giving me a headache - something I suspect I'm going to have to get used to

I think a letter telling you your pension/pensions will suffice. You have to prove income equal to the spanish pension.
