Smile Tv arial connection

Hi. Does anyone know a tv technician I have an arial and coax from top to bottom (I installed the cable myself!). Unfortunately I have no signal downstairs but fine on the top floor. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I need a person that can turn me on!

Try this first, Max before parting with money.

From your description it could just be the inner solid core and outer braided wire shorting together. Or cable damaged on the way from aerial to tv downstairs.

Remake the plug connections carefully - that may solve the problem.

We always use a chap from an electrical shop in Alcudia. Nadal Electronics I think they are called. They are a few doors away from Mercadona - towards the traffic lights. It is best to go there as the shop assistants don't speak much English. (The technician does though). They are very reasonable and efficient, we have used them a number of times.

When we were in Alcudia last month, the shop where Nadal was has been renamed, can't remember what. They also seamed to be offering Digital Services, if I remember rightly, whatever that is....I don't remember seeing the usual fridges etc in the window?

Electronica Nadal has been renamed Tien 2, but it is the same shop. Fridges are still there.
