Default German Shepherd Dogs Animal Shelter

If anyone is a GSD lover like me and has any spare time to help a lovely German lady in Inca with doggie cuddles, walkies and cleaning then please get in touch. Cornelia has several truly fantastic dogs in her care which she saves from other shelters who after a certain time put the perfectly healthy dogs to sleep. Naturally donations of food and money towards the heavy vet bills are also always very welcome and if you have room in your home and heart to adopt or even temporarily foster a dog that would be fantastic too. I took Cayf from her 3 months ago and he is truly fantastic - she has another dog called Poor Boy there at the moment who is big and strong and beautiful.
Please message me for more info.

Oooh this is such a dangerous post.

We are GSD lovers and were heartbroken when our 11 year old died last year. Our GSD was the gentlest dog you can ever imagine despite her appearance. She left a hole in our life but while we are travelling back and forth to Mallorca we said we wouldn't get another. But to have a temporary one might be an answer.

My next dilemma is whether I dare show this post to my good lady....
JMD40 and lollipop like this.

Thats how I got my lovely dog Alcanada Kid, I had been thinking about it for some time and seemed to be a magnet to every dog that went past. I then found this lady in Inca and just a casual comment to my other half who admited that he also thought the time was right to get a dog and the next week there we were looking at all these lovely animals and thats it. It depends how long you are here at any one time but any help will be greatly received. She often gets calls to save a dog from a pound and she has no room so its often helpful if someone can take one for a while to make room for another one who may need special help.... its a merry go round really but she does have a few lovely dogs, male and female. Watching this space with interest to see your next move!

Ummmm big dilemma. If I tell my good lady and we go there then there will only be one outcome...

We come to Mallorca most months for between 10 and 21 days. Not sure whether that would work - or am I just looking for an excuse?
