Default Power cut.

We have a power cut in the bellresguard area . Any news on the cause or how long it's likely to go on? Is it affecting the rest of PP?

They are installing new transformers in various parts of the town, I think you will find that somewhere in Bellresgard there will notices, generaly at the entrance doors from the street informing you the times of the cuts, ours took four hours. however if you still do not have poawer then the I can only assume that the problem is not related to the new transformers unless the switch on knocked out your interuptores.

Pretty sure it was the same power cut that blew out our a/c boards! Engineer said it had happened to a few in the area. Am now trying to see if we can get any help on our insurance. Not holding my breath!

Depending on how old/modern your property is I'd have thought that the worst to have happened would have been the main switch in the fuse box "tripping"? Otherwise that sounds a bit worrying?

Units are about 5 years old Nick, and have probably been overused too! Anyway, the engineer had to be called up from Palma in the end as local engineers couldn't fix repair it, and have just had the bill in. Dont ask!!!

Oops, oh dear BD.
We have Saunier Duval aircon and a contract with them. They are very good I have to say. Their office staff speak perfect English and I've had them out the next day before.
Good luck !
