migt be a stupid question but do UK lamps work in Mallorca with adapter plugs ?

Yes they do, of course you can always change the plug, we have done this with most of the appliances we brought out with us. Spanish plugs are sold in the hardware shops and Chinese emporiums .

Not a stupid question at all,of course they will. Changing the plug to a spanish one would be a better option than using an adaptor. Hope this helps.

Gosh I hadn't thought of that! My turn for a stupid question!

Is it easy to change the plug from UK to Spanish? I have taken lots of electrical things over and put onto adaptors as hadn't thought it possible to change.
Is the wiring easy? Another stupid question!

De nada. Just one thing though, if you have something new or still under guarantee i would leave the English plug on......just in case something goes wrong with it.

great thanks. this makes life much easier. looked for lamps last month in Mallorca and only bought 2 in Ikea and 2 in Zara home, so now will be shipping more over. What would I do withouth this forum?
