Default Seeking winter 2012/2013 apartment rental

Hi there.

I intend to spend 6 months in Puerto Pollensa between October and early April 2012/2013. I'm looking for a 1 bed or studio apartment with heating. I started putting the feelers out for suitable accomodation and enquiring about prices but thought it might be worthwile posting here to see what I may be offered.

Thanks in advance!

Steve.

Thanks sparky - that's better

I've made a few enquiries already, with one bed apartments coming in between 350 and 450 euros per month, these mostly in the Pinaret area. I might not want to be too far from the beach as I fly radio control planes and might see if this is gonna be feasable there in winter? I'd like to avoid buying or renting a car if possible. The primary reason for my stay would be hiking.

Steve.

Thanks for the info and jealous comments

I moved from Scotland to Australia five years ago. My parents, who are still in Scotland, are now in their 80s and I'm not sure how long they have left. I'm taking a "career break" and thought I may as well spend some time with them. I'm not long back from 3 weeks in Mallorca where I met up with family and an old friend.

I was hoping to have been flooded with apartment opportunities here! I thought this would save me some work trolling through websites and emailing about long term rental possibilities...
