Hi,

Take a look at Transport Page on the main website.

I went to the Taxi rank this morning in Puerto Pollensa as the Taxi prices will be a bit higher this year, but the new list will not be published until next week and the prices on the website will be updated as soon as we have it,
Regards

We always recommend Taxi Bisbal.
Alfonsa the lady owner speaks good English and never lets you down.
I've lost track a bit of the cost to the airport and back, but I think it's about £60 return

Hi,

We always use Conde taxis. It will be Jose you will contact on either
Tel. +34 619 73 75 50
Fax +34 971 54 64 77

Further details like email etc can be found under the transport bit of the forum.

Last year cost 56Euros, will probably be a slight increase this year.

Very reliable, speaks English.

Hope this helps.

I second the resorthoppa recommendation and SO MUCH cheaper than a cab.

However, depending upon time of year it is sometimes still cheaper to use car hire

Coming over for 4 days later this month and car hire is only 40euros AND they will do me a full full deal ...... so despite being a fan of Resort Hoppa, the convenience of a car for that price has tempted me away

Resorthoppa do not operate a shared shuttle service in the winter from Palma to PP, or they have not done so in the past. They do, however, offer a private transfer but this works out more than a taxi. I'm not sure what date they stop the shared transfer service though. Lets hope that they might continue to run this service for the winter 2010/2011

I believe ResortHoppa are good and if you register on some of the money saving websites (not sure if allowed to post links) then you can get money off - think it is 10%.

We are a part of 6 and have used the taxis operated by Los Zarzales for the last few years. They are efficient, pleasant and I think the cost was around 90 euros each way.

Have to agree with CD. It's probably just as cheap to hire a car instead of taxi. Then at least you have transport while you are there. We are out next month and have hired a car for a week for almost the same price as a one way taxi hire

The taxi fare does seem to have increased considerably over the past couple of years. It would be nice if Resort Hoppa did continue its service throughout the winter but I suppose the numbers are not there to make it viable. I'm not sure when the service starts and ends in the year?
