IKEA (Palma) takes some beating for delivery. (Usually they will deliver within the week.)

For quality furniture you will have to go to Manacor and look round the furniture shops. Manacor is the furniture capital of Mallorca.
Usually, the furniture will have to be made in the factory, so you may have to wait for 4-6 weeks.

I know the problem. I ended-up with a mixture of IKEA and Manacor furniture.
I got top of the range IKEA basics, and waited for the rest.

Cheers!

Thanks for that, is there any particular stores in Manacor you could recommend?

Gareth

We got our furniture in Inter Mobel in Manacor. They were very good. They have a good range in the shop but also they have many books that you can choose from. The assistant we had was very helpful.

We also looked in Expo Mobles in Manacor which is very big and has an excellent range. They also have a Branch in Inca.

Whilst we got the majority of things from Inter Mobel, like Zapper we also purchased things from Ikea. Mostly kitchen utensils, towels etc and also two bedside tables and I have to say the quality was excellent for the price.

Hope this is helpful.

Sharon

For top of the range furniture Miguel Sureda in Manacor are good, but also Expo are great too. Expo have a branch in Inca but it only a fraction of the size of the one in Manacor. Most of the furniture shops in Manacor are on the Palma road, although Miguel Sureda is on the Porto Christo road.

For basics like kettles, ironing boards etc the supermarket Alcampo are excellent. They are situated on the motorway up from Palma to PP. They sell Tv's also.

Hi Gareth - for electrical goods we normally use Comfort in the port - easier if you have a problem or need parts.

Also Sol Post on the other side of the roundabout from Comfort is great for soft furnishings and accessories - we have had curtains, cushions, candles, table accessories etc from there. Lady owner is always very friendly and helpful. Nice stylish shop.
