We are looking to buy some terrace tables and chairs and would welcome any

recommendations of shops or suppliers.

You could try Plomver on the main road to Pollensa. They have a good selection at reasonable prices. Also Leroy Merlin just before the outskirts of Palma have a good selection.

Failing that IKEA in Palma might have something.

There is a very good hardware shop in Alcudia just along from Mercadona supermarket. Upstairs is a good selection of reasonably priced furniture..from bog standard plastic to very nice wooden and metal . We got some chairs there earlier this year and they are exactly like the ones in Stay :)

Plomver is the best local place to go.

Don't bother with the cheap teak stuff from LM - it just is not up to the job!

From PP head out to Pollensa from the Marina along C/Joan past Caprabo. Keep going straight towards Pollensa. Just before you get to Pollensa and after the turn off for Cala San Vicente (on your right approaching Pollensa) you will see a Large Eroski supermarket (on your left). Plomver is at the same exit further down the turn off than the supermarket.
