Default The Barbers

Thought I would share this story with you all --- coz we found it amusing

We talked Dad into going into the Barbers in Pollensa

Stand with back to cafe espanol, turn left go past church , turn right then first left and its about 20 yds on your right

There was someone already being "cut" so we left him there and went for a walk and another "con leche" and returned about 30mins later and there he was all spruced up

Basically the lovelly barber kept asking him things, Dad didn't have a clue what he was being asked and kept saying "Si" and ended up with a haircut, ear hair trimmed, nose hair trimmed, all sorts of other stray hairs trimmed, a full eyebrow grooming and a blow dry .......... 10 euros

What fantastic Service and I don't know what it was he had put on his hair but it smelt great

Only just seen this post cd and it did make me :rollin

I can picture your dad just saying 'Si' to everything and having the works! I'm sure he really enjoyed all the pampering.

It sounds like a real old fashioned barbers shop which you don't seem to see anymore....Something for the weekend sir ??????!!!!!

Debs!:eek

To be honest, first time ever in Spain went to the barbers.

Looking at the papers and magazines, well, I mean, I was hardly reading them, was I?:rolleyes

And the barber chatting away all the time, all I was doing was grunting!

But, to the present day, there are English ladies in PP who will do a gent's haircut. Nuff said!

Default my visit the hair dresser

There I was sitting proudly in the raised stool in the hair dressers( You know one of those unisex ones!) The hairdresser came up from behind and all of a sudden had my head in a headlock of asome discription. Crickey I thought I was being attacked..........Nope this is called a massage.....
Wish they had told me because I jumped out the chair and had the hairdresser by the scruff thinking I was being attacked lol ( Until my wife ran over and said" you always get it wrong dont you"
