I need to know the public holiday dates for Mallorca and got these from a web site. Can anyone confirm these are right. It seems like you never have to work there at this rate.!!

Which site did you find those on? We marked the ones we had here www.puertopollensa.com/events.html but they may have changed now.

Hi Pollensa, I got them from a web site that Google listed, but of course, I can't find it now. I'm only interested because I'm trying to put them all into my work diary I will be using after the big move, which is at last starting to look like it's really going to happen.
Will keep you posted

I just found thisds on the official website Illes Balears www.illesbalears.es

Public holidays
1st January
6th January
Maundy Thursday Good Friday
Easter Monday
1st May: Labour Day
15th August: Lady Day
12th October: Virgen del Pilar, Patron Saint of Spain
1st November: All Saints Day
6th December: Spanish Constitution Day.
8th December: Immaculate Conception
24th December: Christmas Eve
25th December: Christmas Day
26th December: St. Stephen's Day

I should think the others may be fiestas but not official public holidays. It won't be that easy.... Anyway this Monday is Public Holiday in both UK & Mallorca
