Default buying furniture

please could anyone help, we visited a shop in manacor called intermoblia or something like that. They did a very good selection of furniture and would deliver and install goods purchased. does anyone have any contact details as we have lost the business card. they where going to be setting up a web site but I cannot find it. So if anybody can provide me with details I would be very grateful. also a white goods and TV shop would also come in handy. thanks

Sorry Trinity, I'm unable to help you on the Intermobilia side, but regarding white goods etc, I think the best place in the Port is Confort. There are plenty of posts regarding them on this site. We have always found them excellent and have bought a washing machine, fridge and air conditionining from them. Their service has been excellent, delivery within a day or so (to suit us) and they haven't wanted any payment until everything was in and working and we were happy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Now you're going to ask where they are ...... urm.... at the back, kind of behind Caprabo, there's a small roundabout. If you walk along Vicenc Buades past the small supermarket and then turn left ... come on, someone must know where I mean! :\

I don't know, but could it be INTERMOBEL?
They are on the Palma - Arta road in Manacor.
Their phone number is 971 845 048
Try www. intermobel.net

In the Port Confort is good for white goods. Good back-up and service. Miguel is very helpful.

I hope this may be useful.
Best wishes,
Frito

Hello Trinitycottage,
We cn't help much on the furniture front other than there is a good furniture shop in Puerto Pollensa on Roger de Flor, and a very nice Interior Design shop on the other side of the square to Confort. Like Sandy, we've bought washing machine, hob oven etc. frim them and had the same great service. To go to Confort from the roundabout by Caprabo take the slip road and take the 1st available turn on the right, thenfirst left
into the square. You'll find Confort facing you.
Hope this is of some assistance,
PeRu

There are quite a few furniture shops on the Palma road in Manacor. When we furnished our house we bought most of our furniture from those shops. Although Manacor is quite a drive it is well worth it because of the choice. The biggest shop is Expo which is just on the roundabout as you leave manacor on the Palma road. They have lovely stuff there. there is a branch in Inca but it is very small by comparison. obviously it depends on what you want and your budget. There is an IKEA on the Palma Ring road (Via Centura -PM20). You can see it from the ring road.
