Default Double Glazing

Has anyone had proper double glazing fitted?

By proper, I mean as we would expect to have fitted in the UK (not two panes of glass in a wooden door).

Any details or contacts gratefully received.

Default Re Double Glazing

We had Eurotoldo fit aluminium double glazed windows to our apartment and they did a great job. Also aluminium shutters. Reasonably priced. We had the choice of white or wood effect. We chose wood effect to match the others in the building and they look great.
They came to do the estimate when they said they would, kept us informed during the manufacture, and fitted them well.
Frito, who lives below us, had them done at the same time, and we're both very happy.
They are just outside the walls of Old Alcudia. Telephone number 971 897635

Thanks for the information.

Do they have a workshop we could visit? If so, could you give directions of where they are please.

Gol towards Alcudia along the beach road from PP. When you get to the roundabout, go left towards the old town. Go past the Ford dealer. At the top of this road it bares right just in front of the gates, turn left here. Eurotoldo is on the left

Default Double Glazing

Mallorcaboy (boy?????) has said it all.
I got qoutations from all over the place and, though not the cheapest Eurotoldo were the most thorough in their measuring, even for the estimate.
They did not promise anything they did not deliver.
The windows and shutters are great. I had old pine (rotting) windows and shutters. The new ones keep out the rain, the wind, the light (with closed shutters) and any external noise, and they look great!
I can't recommend them too highly.

Cheers!

Frito.
