Default vinyl matt emulsion

Hi All

Anyone know if there is an equivalent to "vinyl matt emulsion" in Spain also a good place to buy in the port or would the big DIY place near Palma be better ?

Many Thanks for assistance...

Hi Beachfun

There is a very good 'ferreteria ' in PP just up the road from Los Zarzales ( 2nd line from the beach) Also there is one in Alcudia next to Mercadona hypermarket that has a paint mixing machine to get your exact colour match!

Hi Beechfun
The best place in PP to buy paint and any thing relating to decorating is from Trebol which are located in the road behind the SYP supermarket which is at the back of the square, they are also able to tint paint to any colour.
Happy Painting.
Jamie.

For an extremely wide range of paint, try Leroy Merlin next to Alcampo on the way from the airport. They do emulsions. Before painting our apartment last year, I read on this site about people who'd had problems with mould over the winter. Leroy Merlin do emulsion paint with a protector to stop the mould, which is worth getting if you think your place might get damp over the winter. Leroy Merlin is like a huge B&Q warehouse. Worth a browse.

Many thanks to all
Anyone know if there is a choice of types i.e. vinyl silk or matt or is there just emulsion ?
Sandy’s anti mould paint sounds interesting.
Is emulsion obvious to find as my Spanish is still only good for bars and restaurants!

You may find this difficult with limited Spanish but the products are all listed on the Leroy Merlin website www.leroymerlin.es Paint is Pintura & I've found 'acabado' (finish) 'mate' & 'satinado' - so they do exist

If this link works:leroy merlin paint you will see a list of 139 products!
