Default Buying Mail Order

I buy mail-order all the time.

I have ordered from U.K. for delivery in Puerto Pollensa with no problems.

I now regularly order U.K. products from Puerto Pollensa, again no problems.

The local post office are brilliant. If the packages are big, or need a signature, they leave a slip, and I collect from the post office.
My postman is so good that he leaves packages outside my apartment door.

Last order from Amazon took 5 days from ordering.

Frito.

Thats fantastic news Frito. I wondered how I'd deal with my passion for books once we move out. Is it a lot more for postage?

Of course it depends on the size and weight of the package, but my last CD from Amazon cost £1:88 for post and package.
Before Christmas I enquired about the delivery cost of a 250g piece of Stilton Cheese from a well-known supplier in the UK.
They wanted to send it by courier, and charge me £50:00!!
I managed Christmas without stilton!

I hope this is useful.

Thanks Frito. I suppose the message is to check the delivery costs before you click that button! Just got back from PP ourselves. If I'd read your message before we went, I'd have brought a wheel of stilton over for you!
