Hi,

I'm not sure who you are using but I'm afraid that people aren't always good about returning emails & it may be better to telephone once you've sent the email or even fax if you can.

We used Tony de la Cruz when we bought in 2003 and he worked his socks off for us. In general terms e.mail does not seem to be used quite as much in PP as we use it in the UK.

If you are not entirely happy with your currrent solicitor I can highly recommend Antonio (Tony ) de la Cruz.He handled the purchase of our apartment and also does Spanish wills and handles yearly tax returns etc.He sorted out everything including the standing orders for our utility and community bills and also the application to the police that all people residing on Mallorca must have. Both he and his partner speak excellent English and his secretary actually is English .I have always found him very reasonable in terms of fees. His office is on the Formentor road just behind the pinewalk. The majority of the owners in our community of 20 apartments also use him.

Agree about Tony de la Cruz. He can't do enough to help and speaks very good English.

I would highly recommend Tirso Tarrago. The office is just above the pharmacy at C/Joan. We used him last year and he was excellent. His price includes setting up all the direct debits etc needed when you purchase a property. His english is excellent and he seems to work 24 hours a day! There are other good reviews of his service on this website.

His email address is:
