Default Water Filters

I am looking at having a water filter installed in our apartment. What are the pro's and con's. We use so much bottled water when we are there and try to recycle as much as possible, but all that plastic...... If anybody has one installed I would be grateful for your opinion.

If you look at this weeks Euro Weekly paper there is an article about bottled water which states that Spain has some of the best drinking water in Europe and recommends that we all stop buying bottled water and drink the stuff that comes out of the tap instead.

Although perfectly safe to drink theoretically, because of the mineral and chlorine content it doesn’t taste great, plus the high amount of minerals can also upset your tummy. Think I’ll stick to bottled!

Indeed. The chalk/calcium content in Mallorcan water is off the scale (if you’ll excuse the pun!). It’s not for no reason that Heineken used to advertise with a send-up of ‘My Fair Lady’ stating “The woughta in Majorca don’t taste like what it oughta!” 😂
