Default Tax exemption for importing your own furniture...

Summary - you can bring your own furniture from the UK tax free (under certain conditions)...

Background - I saw a beautiful dining table and sideboard in a furniture sale in Macclesfield last weekend and couldn't resist... I've always wanted to do the UK Pollenca road trip...

Niki and I agreed that for our honeymoon in September we'll drive to Pollenca (scenic route) in our camper van and bring the above bits with us... I'll just have to deal with the paperwork...

This little nugget of information may be useful for full timers and part timers...

If you're bringing your own furniture and its older than 6 months then fill the form and bring your details along whilst doing so..

p.s. if anyone would like a nice dark wood dining table in September drop me a msg.
