Ditto….I’m with Caixa but haven’t seen this. Maybe depends upon the type of account? If I get anything from Caixa I’ll post.

We were asked for further details by Sabadell earlier this year - because of Brexit and not in the EU anymore

I no longer have a foreigner's account. It is to do with money laundering.

Here is a translation of the request I received 29 Jan this year from one bank .The other banks were not so blunt and wrapped it up in waffle about Moneylaundering

" Due to the fact that British citizens are no longer considered to be EU citizens from January 1, 2021, the identification of natural persons will change on that date. From this point on, the customer must be identified with his currently valid national passport number."

My Sabadell account is 3.5 yrs old, I've always used my passport number. I suppose they knew the Brexit vote result at that point. I haven't heard anything else recently.
