Default rubbish bins

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but what is the general situation with putting rubbish in the bins?

Green bins for general waste? There seem to be a lot of them, but have to travel further afield for the green, yellow and blue liftable bins. What are they for?

The others are for plastic, cardboard and glass. There are also a few white ones for clothing and textiles.

The blue bin is usually for cardboard.
The yellow bin is plastic packaging and containers
There's also a green glass bottle bank

The green dumpsters are usually rubbish. In Sa Pobla they can be grey.
