Smile Orange Gas Bottles

Hi, Firstly thank you for accepting my request to join the forum.
So I've recently taken ownership of an apartment in Lienaire and the hot water comes from a little boiler that runs off bottled gas.
Its defiantly running out and I need some advise on how to obtain new bottles? I've read online that you have to get a contract with Repsol and an agent has to come out and inspect your equipment? Other people are saying you just take your empty bottles to a petrol station and they swap them over for a charge?
Can anyone help this newbie out with some decent advice Thank you

Every Saturday morning there is a gas lorry parked up at the roundabout at Pollensa, instead of turning left to Pollensa go straight across and it is on the right hand side by rubbish skips from 09.00 on to around 13.00hrs. Except of course this coming Saturday when the lorry is there but the road is shut for the half marathon.

I had the same problem as you.

I found out that the owner of Pinturas Trébol, behind Hiper Centro, sells empty gas bottles as well as full ones if you take him the empty one back. The same goes for Plomer shop, which is over the road from Lidl.

I sometimes see the gas lorry unloading near Siurell restaurant in Llenaire. Maybe they could tell you what days he stops there.

The last one I got was the new and improved version which are a lot lighter. The gas man changed my old version for the new type at no extra cost, although I think the refill was slightly more expensive.

Found out yesterday that in Llenaire, gas bottle deliveries are on Wednesdays, stopping at Siurell around midday.
