Default Relocating to Majorca

Does anyone think Brexit will have an impact on people wanting to relocate to Majorca in the future. And also what about the people that have already made that commitment and moved?

No one knows yet

I was going to say it is the million dollar question but more like the multi Billion dollar (euro) question.

The way I look at it is that according to figures online there are 319,000 British living in Spain, the true figures will of course be much different.

Many of these British who are lucky enough to have retired to Spain will have worked in the UK most of their lives and have paid into UK company pension schemes and their employers will have also paid contributions into UK pension schemes.

That means that Billions of pounds of UK pension scheme money that should have been spent in the UK is now spent in Spain rather than in UK shops and UK council tax bills and utility bills in the UK.

Common sense would say that Spain would bend over backwards to make it easy for expats to continue spend all this UK pension money in Spain.
The figure must be billions per year.

Lets wait and see if common sense prevails over any political agenda.

Might be different for people wanting to relocate and work or start a business as that is taking jobs from locals.
