Default Outdoor furniture

Does anyone have any recommendations for a local shop which sells good quality outdoor dining chairs which aren't too expensive? They need to look reasonably smart - ideally in black rattan, or better still the imitation version of this, to match our existing furniture. I'm sure someone recently recommended a store in Pollensa or the Port but can't find the link. Could it have been Plomer? I know the Chinese emporium does have chairs, which look fine, but I'm worried that they won't be such good quality - as we rent the villa out, and most guests seem to have children, they do take a bit of a battering and need to be 'childproof' as far as possible (someone's little darling has basically amused him/herself by unravelling the wicker-look backs of the chairs we have at present....) They also need to be weather resistant as they are left outside all winter (albeit under a terrace). Many thanks for any suggestions.

The only reason I suggest Plomer is that they normally deliver free of charge whereas companies based in the Palma area normally don't.

No problem if the purchase can be fitted in a car but something to consider if not.

Sometimes the delivery charge can be quite a lot more than any difference in price.

We can also recommend Llomgar C/ Pollentia 45 A-B 07400 in Alcudia - it's just before the Mercadona supermarket. We either park in Mercadona and do some shopping or park in the street behind.
Despite a relatively small shop frontage, when you go inside, it's a huge emporium of hardware items and more.
At the back of the shop, there is a large selection of patio furniture on the mezzanine level. It's the biggest selection we had seen locally.
We'd got fed up with the cheaper green patio chairs bending, fading or cracking in the sun. The mid-price chairs we bought from Llomgar have lasted three seasons so far - and still look very smart.

We bought the steel/mesh style chairs & table for our balcony from Llomgar and managed to fit them in our car. I think their quality is better than Plomer but not sure about delivery charges. See Ferreteria Bricocentro Llomgar en Alcudia - Mallorca

That's great, Lorenzo - will definitely take a look. We could probably get 3/4 chairs in the boot of our car - two journeys to Alcudia is no problem.

Just wanted to report how pleased we were with Plomer - have found eight very comfortable black rattan chairs at a really good price (plus they had them in stock) - exactly what we wanted. Job done! I've never been in Plomer before - didn't know it was there - but it's a real find.

Is there anyone in the local area who does repairs to rattan furniture? Thanks
