Default Port or Town?

Hi everyone.
We are considering buying an appartment in either Port or Town, as we love the town but feel once you have had your coffee, morning stroll around shops etc, that's it, whereas the port has some lovely walks, lots of shops and of course the beach, can anyone help? we love both, but with not having a large outdoor space, worry that we may feel a bit enclosed in the Tow.
Also is there any British groups that meet up for coffee etc, as I would like to feel i could make some new friends over there.
Lynne

Try renting before buying.

For anyone planning to live in Mallorca, membership of ESRA might be a good idea. Meet people - Make friends - Know Mallorca - ESRA Mallorca
