Lost ITV Channels

According to Beyond Technology's status on Facebook, Yesterday:

SKY UPDATE !
Astra 2F has just about arrived at its permanent orbital position at 28.2ºE. There will now be a short period of testing and the channels currently on the Astra 1N will migrate to the 2F over 3 days commencing 23 November. If it's right, all those channels will be transmitting from the 2F from 26 November. We should then begin to get reception reports from Mallorca and we will find out whether we can still watch the football and our soaps next summer!

So its a bit early to have lost channels (except for channel 5 family)

No problems for us last week, except for the previously lost Ch5. Had WiFi fitted and spoke to Pedro re the Ch future lost; get a dish, get a box (get a book instead!!) He chuckled and said that no one actually knows for certain until it happens, don't do anything yet despite all the offers going around - Daily Mail had some sort of box offer for €69 which caught our eye for a moment - as there will certainly be people working on things to offer when and if it does affect Chs. There could even be just a booster to attach on the original dish, nothing is certain. Keep Calm and Watch the Channels!

Appears to be a bit of confusion here. I think the the Sky report quoted is over a year old. Astra 2F was launched on Sept 28 2012, It went into operation on 23rd November 2012 and the Channel 5 stations were then moved from Astra 1N.
Astra 2E was launched on Sept 30th 2013. If the schedule is the same then we expect it to go live during the last week in November. Only then will we know what problems it causes us here.
