Default Just moved to Pollenca.. Info needed please.

Hi all,

We have just moved to Pollenca from the U.K with our 2 young daughters aged 8 & 3. Can anybody give us some information please on schools & term dates etc. We would also appreciate any information or suggestions on local places to eat & drink & events etc & particulary buying a used car. Any help & info would be great. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for such a quick response & the links. We are finding the site really helpfull & just learning to navigate around it. We have relocated to the old town & are already just amazed at the difference in lifestyle & friendliness here. We wish we had made the move a long time ago.

Default Also moving to Pollensa this year with children

Hello,
It is lovely to read other posts of people in the same situation as us.
We are moving to Pollensa within the next few months. We have two boys aged 2 and 6 and I am currently trying to do some research on the State public schools for our elder son.
Does anybody have any advice or information on the local schools?
My only concern about the move is the schooling really as he is doing so well here. We would like him to finish the school year here but I am not sure what time it is best to enroll with the schools in Mallorca. Could anybody help me with this?

Thank you in advance and best of luck to everybody with their move!

Hi

After a few years of doing our homework and all going well we are moving to PP in March. Our kids will be attending one of the state schools in PP and supplementing their education with tuition at Kip McGrath in Palma. I have contacted the local schools to tell them when we will be there and to see if they have places available.
It would be great to hear how everyone gets on with relocating and any advice/tips would be useful.
