UK Income

Hi Everyone, been reading lots of very helpful threads on here, great forum, am selling up within the next few months and busy researching info on living in Majorca, hopefully Puerto Pollensa, know the area well, just need a bit of advice, I believed that any money you receive, paid in the UK, you do not pay tax in Spain ?? but if I was to obtain any work whilst there, then that would be taxable within Spain ? Also as being part of the EU, could I live there without residency ? many thanks to anyone who replies to this. Lorraine :-)

you are correct about paying tax in mallorca if you work ,but officially you can't live there without obtaining a residencia certificate. You can obtain double taxation paperwork for anyv income that has to be taxed in the Uk.
