looking for work ..winter 2008 or all year round work in 2009

I am a english female and have recently finished my A-levels and have been looking for work all summer , but unable to find anything. I am now looking for work for this winter or the beginning of the summer season 2009. I have an apartment in alcudia so accomidation is not required i also have my N.I.E number . I speak moderate spanish and aiming to speak fluently by next march. I also speak a little german.I have worked in the resturant sector for 3 years , but looking for any kind of work eg bar work, shop assistant.
