Angry Malware on Mallorca Daily Bulletin site.

Went on to MDB this morning, or rather tried to and my system rejected the attempt saying that this was a suspicious site. Looked further into it and Google are reporting some nasties found on the MDB site in the last few days. Has anybody else encountered this and if so, how nasty are the nasties as my knowledge in this field is very limited.

Same for me - I think the MDB people need to review their website and their external links. Shouldn't take too long, but not ideal for a publishing company ...

The Google Safe Browsing page is displayed and it says (amongst other things) about the website majorcadailybulletin.es

...
Has this site hosted malware?

No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.

How did this happen?

In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.

When i went onto the MDB website earlier, i had a message flashed up to say a "Trojan" had been detected and blocked . I use McAfee.

Glad it's not just my computer that has detected this situation. I guess I just keep off the site for a day or so but people keep telling me that as I run Apple, I am immune. Sales talk or true I wonder ?
