Default Mobile Phone

I need a Spanish mobile for use on the Island on pay-as-you-go. Can someone tell me the best network to go for and where, in the Port, should I buy my 'phone from ? A second hand 'phone would be ok (as long as it works !) so if anyone has an unlocked 'phone, in PP, they wish to sell then please let me know.

You can buy 'sim-free' phones in Comfort & buy SIMS for several networks. However another possibility is to buy your Spanish Sim online from 0044 and they will 'unlock' your existing phone for you. You can then swap Sims as you arrive in each country.

They are currently offering a Tarjetas sim card from Vodafone for £29.99 including £17 calling credit. If you have a Nokia phone they will unlock that for free.

You can also buy Sim-free phones from Carphone Warehouse.

Default Mobile

Thanks for that 0044 look excellent value and it will save me coming back to UK to find a mobile bill greater than my air fare - I am just waiting to hear if they can un-lock my Alcatel if not I will buy a reconditioned Nokia from Virgin ..... they have some virtually new ones for £40.
