Default Broadband Internet

How easy is it to get broadband (ADSL) internet installed as my parents are moving out to PP in a few weeks and want to have internet access available as soon as possible ? Who are the best providers in PP for broadband and what is the lead time for installation. What are my parents options in the mean time for cheap interent access from home (not cybercafe etc) ?
Kind Regards
NickandSue

Hi,

First of all check with Telefonica (1004 - from mallorca) if ADSL coverage is available in the area of your home.

Telefonica provide ADSl at the cost of about 39 euros plus IVA per month and it is very good. Depending on demand it normally takes about 2-3 weeks to install and you have have to pay extra for the modem and installation.

A local ISP in the meantime is www.gonuts4free.com/english/ which is just the cost of a local phone call when you are connected to the Internet.
