Mobile calling
Hi, sure someone can help me, should we have any delays we have a mobile no to call this starts 0034, my question is though, if i am in Majorca and need to call this number using my English mobile does it still start 0034? The number I have been given has 9 more numbers after the initial 0034. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.
Hope this makes sense to someone??

Hi, yes from an English mobile you will still need to add the Spanish code 0034. plus the none digits.

Mobile Calls
Hi
Just to clarify that, and on the same theme ...
Does that mean then, bearing in mind that I will be bringing my trusty old UK Mobile (Gas Powered!!). NO Sim3's, or anything like that, just what it came with when purchased, that I will precede the Phone Number for the Hoppa Bus Company with 0034 when trying to contact them from PP to confirm departure time??
Regards

You don't need to call any more go online (Internet cafe less than 1 euro) put in booking ref and you get your dept time. This works around 2 days before you fly back

Surely it depends upon whether you are being asked to call a UK number or a Spanish number ..... If it's a Spanish number then you will need to prefix it with the Spanish code because you are calling from a UK mobile.

Tangoman you should definitely turn roaming off as it will not keep costs down. Completely the opposite in fact, many people have been caught out with this and unwittingly come home to find they've got a huge phone bill as their phone has been connecting ( roaming ) to other networks.
If your dialling a Spanish number from a Uk phone you always prefix 00(+) 34 and to an English number it's 00(+) 44 and omit the first zero of the number.

Definitely off. Huge potential costs otherwise.

The best way of getting your return transfer time for the Hoppa bus, is to put the Hoppa app on your phone.

If you don't turn it OFF at the moment you will be limited for data use to 50Euros unless you override this.
In the future? the EU are planning to do away with Roaming Charges, hence companies like Three offering "At Home" doing this in advance as a marketing ploy to get customers.

I always thought the nicest internet cafe was the one next door to where Citrus/Fletchers was. Just past Burger King and turn right at the Steakhouse Restaurant. Career Gola I think its is. We always used that before we got the wifi.
Quite quiet in there and about 50 cents for 30 mins. Also printers etc. Find some of the others a bit "dodgy"
