Default Villa in Cala San Vincente

Hi

I have never been to Mallorca before. Cala san Vincente has taken my fancy but it seems impossible to find what I am looking for and I am about to give up. I am looking for a villa for two weeks in June with the following:

Air con, BBQ, Pool, no more than 500 metres from beach, at least 2 bedrooms, sea view. I would have thought this would be fairly easy to find, but maybe not.

Is Cala the most sought after place on the island and should I consider looking for somewhere else. I need a very quiet family villa close to beach.

Am afraid that we only have 3 apartments in Cala San Vicente but over 250 (villas & apartments) in Puerto Pollensa as well as villas in Pollensa countryside. There is a lot more choice in Puerto Pollensa. I'm sure there must be some villas in Cala San Vicente but it is pretty quiet & the beaches or coves are also pretty small so it may not be what you're expecting if you have never visited before.

Have a look at Rent Villas Apartments in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca (Mallorca), do a search on the complete 'Pollensa' location, select the 'Map' tab & you will get a better idea of the geography of the area.

My wife and I have stayed at Villas in Cala san Vicente on 6 occasions over the years, and there are 3 bays/ beach areas. In june the beaches do not get very crowded. It is a quiet peaceful resort, mostly residential, with a few bars and restaurants. PP and Pollensa are only a ten minute bus or car journey away, so you can be spoilt for choice. Have you tried, Villa plus, Villa parade, Sealand villas, Solmar villas or even Owners direct. I am sure you will find something there. If its quiet and relaxation you are looking for then this is the place for you!!!!

We booked a villa in CSV through portvil.com who are based in the village several times. They were always helpful and spoke excellent English on the phone. Unfortunately the villa we used isn't what you are looking for

Just a note of caution: If you like swimming in the sea CSV does seem to get plagued with jelly fish quite frequently but on the plus side the water is crystal clear.

Must be at a certain time of year, as I have always been there in June and never seen any jellyfish at all???
