Default Bellauba & El Molino Apartments

Hi everyone

This will be my first visit to PP & at the moment I have the option of Bellauba apartments or one in El Molino.
Am I correct in thinking that the Bellauba complex is a good way from the town centre & Pine walk etc. About 25 mins walk it would seem.
I can't find much about El Molino apartments, so any help with either would be very much appreciated.
I am looking forward to my first visit to PP. I have been to CSV a couple of times, about 20yrs ago though.

Regards

Jan

Hi Teabag and welcome to the forum!

In reply to your question some friends stayed at Ballauba apartments a few years ago and they were very nice BUT they are quite a walk to the beach and centre, and situated on a hill so quite a challenging walk...especially the return trip I don't personally know the Molino apartments but think they are in Siller, which is closer to all the action although still a fair walk to the beach.

We stayed in El Molino a number of years ago. The aoartment we stayed in was on the top floor, had three bedrooms and a good sized balcony as well as the usual offices. I remember the apartment being well equiped and nicely appointed.
As Debs says it is at the Habitat end of Siller, and a fair distance from the village, but an easy walk.
Good luck Jan.

Hiya Jan,
I have an apartment in Bellauba and love it. But I also have a car.
If ur fine with walking to the biz, but don't want to be in the biz.... then it is a lovely and peaceful location. Great views, lovely apartments, nice clean pool and garden areas.
It is Home to different nationalities, second home to likewise and a few rental apartments. But don't expect it to be filled with brits...just not that sort of place.
So it depends on what sort of holiday is right for you.
If it is lazing by the pool by day, quiet dinners & a bottle of wine on ur balcony in the evenings and all round relaxation, then yup, very nice place to be.
But if ur not planning on hiring a car and u enjoy eating out every night / hitting all best bars in town, then, it is a wee bit out of the way ( specially as debz mentioned, on the way home)

Hope this helps a wee bit

Miriam

Hi everyone. Thanks for the fast response. Bellauba is as I thought but I didn't factor in the hill lol! I will have to continue my trawl of the various websites to find something a bit nearer although I may well take the El Molino apartment. I would have preferred a view of the sea & this has the hills. If anyone can recommend an apartment with 2 bedrooms, pool & a sea view please let me know. (End of July or anytime in August 14 nights)

Thanks again for your help, & I hope I find something soon.

Jan

Found one in Llenaire, which looks lovely & I've booked it. If anyone can tell me a bit more about the area that would be great.

Thanks

Jan

Llenaire is about a 15 mins beachside stroll from the marina at Puerto Pollensa. It is well known for its lovely beach area, not affected by the watersports which are on offer a little closer to the marina end. At weekends you may even see a few families with BBQs under the trees on the beach. It has a few good restaurants close by; The Galleon Hotel, Restaurant Llenaire and Surell. A little further up the road is Tangos, a well known favourite with the forum. The new bypass has made trips to the large supermarket a very quick outing, although there is a small Spa close by for absolute essentials. The area is quieter than those closer to the Puerto Pollensa square, and has a very airy and open feel about it. There are a mixture of very expensive villas dotted around as well as newer sympathetically designed apartments. A lovely area to stay in – as are they all obviously!
